“erinswindow” is a small creative space in my garage/art studio situated on a laneway in Footscray, where I work with clay, fibre and paper. I love working with these natural materials directly in my hands – for me it means connecting/re-connecting with materials, nature and myself. I think it is my first step working towards a kinder world where we live more mindfully within our environment.

My little porcelain people carry stories about walks in nature, connection with animals, connection with self, inner strength, thoughts and concerns as a mother, and just wonders about the world we live in…

I am shy and introverted. My art is very personal. But I have learned through my practice and connections with people who appreciate what I make, that the more personal it is (and I am honest and brave about it), the more it finds connections. It is almost that when it is personal, it becomes universal. It is interesting and lovely really.
